  • Warmth Of The Sun

    July 26th, 2026

    Shining ever so bright

As I have the absolute privilege

    And constant joy

Of basking and bathing in its rays

    Each day I awakened

To a feast for the eyes

And adore drowning in the sunrise

    As I cannot wait

    And further anticipate

    This natural wonder here

Watching as it feeds my skin

    And felt nicely within

    Turning a shade darker

    From being sundrenched

Externally along with the after effects

    Of feeling healthy

As I have a bit of sun

    Sewn right into me

    And being a part of

    A grateful experience shared

    And beyond compare

That never fades and surrounds the shade

Warmth that graciously invades and concaves

    Itself all around me

With no way to be outdone

For oh how it feels, to be present and alive

In the fullness of warmth from the sun

  • My Eyes

    July 25th, 2026

    My eyes see

    A world full of possibilities

    Tapered off but only by

    Limited beliefs and imagination

And the stagnation to do more

    For I gaze upon

    A night full of stars

As they don’t seem so far

    Away from me

    Coincidentally

I’m not far away from them either

    Nor sun or moon

As I swoon by the sight of each one

    For my eyes

Stare within and into the very universe

    Of me and to reach

The deep recesses of my mind

    Yet outwardly bind me to

    The things before me

    Or so it would seem

    For I deem to

    Tread carefully with decisions

Not thought upon and wrought by

    The negative results that follow

For at times I feel hollow

As my eyes see a space

That has allowed for a missing piece

And a part that certain parts of life

    Greatly increased

    Not shallow but humble

    Not careless but thoughtful

Within my web of utter existence

For I see with these eyes of mine

    At a great distance

Of an amazing future waiting for me

But seen in the now and claimed today

    For my eyes harness

That which lies in my soul

    And many stories within

    Yet to be told

    Nor do I deny

For lo, the depths of me and beyond

Truly seen through and with my eyes.

  • Accompanied By Shadow

    July 24th, 2026

    I am never alone

    For wherever I go

    My shadow follows

    And has done so consistently

    Throughout my life

    No matter the place

    No matter the situation

No matter who I was around or not

    A duality of sorts

    As I report this now

Yet somehow time made no difference

In what my shadow would do

Or bend to the light or dark circumstances

There for a reason and purpose

    I suppose

Moving along with me and then froze

Right in place and having to faceoff

    With it and myself

In any case and as to which

    Neither of us

    Could ever be replaced

A dynamic duo if you will

    That mimics everything I do

    Under the right conditions

    Seeming whole and never hollow

And where I go it follows

    Nor will ever fall behind

And usually set side by side

    As another version of me

    Right there live and outside

    With no need to hide

    Expand or grow

For through my life and existence

    I will continue to be

    Accompanied by shadow

  • Pale And Dim Light

    July 24th, 2026

    Sitting around

    in deep thought,

    and thinking about life—

    that which was wrong,

    and what went right,

as I ponder and wonder about

a cocoon of thoughts and memories—

that so heavily stick to me,

in the wee hours of the night,

and the sunlit hours of day,

just beckons to stay in place,

    even when it doesn’t match,

    the look upon my face,

    while being the private investigator,

    of my own case—

    and attempting to settle

    and slow my brain down,

    but it decides to race,

and expects me to keep pace—

    even during my sleep—

restless nights spent; and odd dreams,

that tend to trace a dotted line—

of what may or may not have defined,

the likes of me throughout time,

    with moments on bended knee,

    seeking the Divine—

there in the silence and quietness,

    of secret moments with myself,

    but reminding myself—

all along; to continue to fight,

    no matter the reflection,

    or a slight miscalculation,

yet headed in a direction of,

drowning in a sea of forgetfulness,

    while tuning into the frequency,

that would tailor my very best—

and at the behest; of my own voice,

    satisfactory success,

    and to be nothing less,

    through my free will choice—

on such a high but also,

    while visiting and entertaining,

    an uncertain course at times—

felt from a lost and lower height—

as thoughts cross my mind often,

    In pale and dim light.

  • Mere Whisper

    July 23rd, 2026

    The faint sound

    of a small wind,

    felt more so than heard—

    and no higher in decibels,

    than a mere whisper—

    a tiny breeze,

that is wresting between the trees,

    as I sit below,

    nestled in fallen leaves,

    for in this moment,

I have all that I need,

as I’m staring up at the clouds,

    as they roll slowly by—

    that helped; feed the breeze,

as I close my eyes; and think about,

    the temperature around me,

    felt nicely from cooler degrees,

for what a spot this is,

    residing right here—

as I could stay here forever,

    vanish and then reappear,

    time slowed but appreciated,

    and fond relaxation initiated—

for this natural allure and area,

    greeted me without hesitation,

    and I’m quite thankful—

    for what all has occurred,

and having the chance to dwell,

    amongst the soft winds—

That gave off a mere whisper.

  • For I Speak

    July 22nd, 2026

    For I speak

Abundance over any kind of lack

    For I speak

    Much love over all hate

    For I speak

Light over darkness at all times

    For I speak

    Brightness even during the sunshine

    For I speak

Faith over any and all fear

    For I speak

    Much belief over any doubt

    For I speak

    Much healing over me always

    And before I speak

I think positive instead of negative

    And I will speak

Into existence who I truly am

    And always desired to be

    For I speak

    Life into me

  • The Start

    July 22nd, 2026

    So you wanted to be

    A poet

    Or rather it chose you

And you either took a pause

    Or immediately answered the call

    And wandering where to start

    For poetry is an art

    That leads from both

    Your mind and heart

    And if you allow

It will become a huge part

    Of your life

So don’t fret over the how

    And don’t sweat the when

    But rather just jump in

    And take it head on

    As with any art

And the boldness to do so

Yet nothing will happen at all

    Or come to be

    If you don’t just

    Start immediately

  • Vision

    July 22nd, 2026

    VISION (Acrostic)

    Visualizing one’s goal or dream

In ways that care to expand into

Something unique and compelled to see

    Initiated and brought into reality

    Outwardly executed after thought out

Never not see a dream or goal realized

  • The Place That Echoes and Listens to Me Speak

    July 21st, 2026

Staring off into this empty space

    with passing thoughts of mine,

speaking into the confines; and listening I believe,

into the place that echoes me—

a mixture of light and the shadowy,

but within this area is only me,

    yet there is such—

    a strong presence here within,

feeling it with my arms crossed,

and the airiness against my skin,

    for what I see here—

    is an opportunity,

for me to just let loose; and be abrasive,

    well I could do that,

but I decided to choose calm and meaningful,

    so I began to speak,

from a personal memory in mind,

for in this moment; this is my time,

    to shine and unwind—

in such a way that surpassed,

    anything before,

as I’m speaking in between metaphors—

    breathing heavily in anticipation,

    of the secluded situation—

stepping into the dark for a second,

    then began to speak deeply,

then moved back into the light,

where I felt more than alright,

    no nervousness or fright,

being in my bright mind; but totally out of sight,

while being here in this place,

as I hear the sounds of my voice,

echo the very words of my choice,

and for a moment; it seemed as if,

    the space was filled up,

    with words that bounced,

    back and forth—

between the walls and my face,

spoke a direct question, but no answer back,

for that would’ve been crazy if so,

    but I just know,

    that not for one second,

    did I feel alone,

and prone to settle in here,

both in the light and dark,

and in the words spoken then disappear,

    a cherished time—

    that was all mine,

    to just flow and know,

    with each word composed—

that this was my humble abode,

    and a very quaint retreat,

    As I—

    stood still and moved about,

    with motivated feet—

and not once felt out of reach—

    for I thoroughly enjoyed,

being in the place that echoed,

And cared enough; to listen to me speak.

  • Reflection Through The Lake

    July 21st, 2026

    The lady spent a day

    Walking and thinking

    About her life

    And just what it means

    To be herself

    And on this day

She walked by the nearby lake

    As she couldn’t wait

    To get there

As it was a nice place

That tends to bring her peace

So she sat down and by, her favorite spot

And thinking about what troubled her

But here worries tend to not exist

As she watches the ripples of the lake

Roll by and feeling a slight breeze

    Upon her face

    As she takes a moment

To look down at an image

    Of her wavy reflection

    Staying still right there

    As she saw a woman

    That had a smile

And it was in this moment

    That she realized

She was going to be okay

    Despite worries or past mistakes

For her heart felt such ease

As she stared upon her reflection

    Through the lake
