    Should I

    keep my,

    art private and to myself?

and share it with; absolutely no one else,

    as I as an artist—

    get to look and admire,

    this art,

with no one else to inquire,

    or to tear it apart—

    with unappreciative opinions,

and the lack of love; for the art as it is,

    or do I,

take a chance and a personal risk,

to share it with the world; and because of this,

    potentially catapult myself,

    into artistic legendry—

    and for all to see,

    personally interpreting,

the very artistic piece; that is a part of me,

make it and hide it away,

or create it; and put it on display,

    as the artist must choose—

    admire it or deny it,

so should I as an artist,

    keep my work—

    Private?

    For what can one do

in a situation; that does not serve them well,

    at all—

    continuing on this path,

    will lead to more,

    of the same circumstances,

    that lead to nowhere—

    so one must choose,

    to wear very different shoes,

in order to change to; a much better path,

    and to walk therein—

so as to not repeat; or to ever go down,

    This road again.

  • Rhyme or no Rhyme

    July 6th, 2026

    Rhyme or no rhyme

    Is the poetry question here

Word for word and line by line

But the poetic answer is not so clear

For I rhyme because I can

But when I feel its not there

    I don’t force it through

For I can rhyme anytime I want

And also not if I so choose

    Rhyme or no rhyme

Is up to the poet at that time

As the question looms and is answered

    In their own unique way

Read and seen through every poetic line

And to not rhyme, is more than alright

Totally okay as it doesn’t have to

So as long as the poem served the poet well

Then the poet did their part

But to rhyme can be such fun

Whether penned or spoken any day

And no one and done poetry

As the rhymes roll and also take shape

    Rhyme or no rhyme

Well, I’ll just have to do it anyway

    Write or recite

    Defined by each line

    For what more

Does this poem need to say

  • The Arts and the Creatives

    July 3rd, 2026

There is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing that could ever replace the human elements of art. No machine or software will ever have the heart, mind, and soul of a human being. Especially when it comes to art and all of its forms. We created it, or rather the Creator is and was the first one and we as creatives were given the talent and abilities to explore it even further.

To make it our own and to make the world a bit better of a place by having done so. No AI will ever take the place of, substitute, or have the creative ability shaped and formed by us. For it has limitations to creativity due to said programming or evolution, but we on the other hand don’t. For the one thing the machines and software will always and forever lack, is imagination.

Plus you can always tell the difference between us and AI art, we can always feel the human element lacking. Which in turn is happening more and more these days. Creatives and artists are being replaced by quick content, clickbait, memberships, and corporate statistics all for the sake of entertainment only and temporary gratification. Many creatives feel that also going in this direction, is the only way of staying or even becoming truly relevant at all. Well, that is quite a shame to be honest, because this should never be the case. We cannot trade these things for what’s real, natural, soulful, and heartfelt. So many artists today can’t create they way they want, they way their heart and mind leads them to. What happened to the real appreciation of the arts? Not just for monetary sake, although of course this is always nice, but also for the gain and necessity of humanity itself. The pure passion and essence alone, and then all else follows suit.

Human creativity cannot die, because it is a vital part of us. It must be appreciated for what it is, and not interrupted or corrupted for other means. We have to allow our artists to be themselves, and stop blocking them from doing so. Stop taking their work for granted, and allow them the true freedom of real artistic expression and creativity. The arts matter, have always mattered, and will always matter. And we must get back to all the things that make it not only great, but what defines us even more as human beings.

  • The Poetry Situation

    July 3rd, 2026

This post here is a rather personal one, especially being a poet myself and one that I’m sure other poets will certainly relate to.

So I began with this question, “Who the hell decided that poetry has no market or isn’t valuable enough to make a real living from?”

How many of us poets truly want to take our poetry further? How many of us poets would really like to make a good living from our poetic work? I’m pretty sure you‘ll get where I’m going with this one. Online you research poetry and ways to try and market it or gain money from it. But again, why is this the case anyway? Poetry is vital to our humanity and is very necessary and valuable to say the least. Each poet is unique and to what they bring to the art itself. What happened to the true appreciation for this art form? Why it is not widely accepted as before? Or why does it have to change with the times in order to be relevant at all? These questions linger in my mind every time I see this mess. Poetry is poetry and that to me is more than enough. My passion for it and skill of it is more than valuable and has its place in the world. Just like any other pure poet that brings such uniqueness to this art form, and with plenty to brighten up our world.

Now I didn’t get on here to rant, but instead to get an understanding of the times we’re in with regards to poetry. Even as a teenager, the fact I even mentioned I was a poet turned off my Dad. It’s like I said oh hey,,,I don’t feel like doing anything with my life worthwhile!! Even when it came to design, the same disdain applied. To be an artist, is not only an amazing privilege, but also one of the best things one could ever be or strive to achieve. Maybe I’m a bit bias here, but I will always defend the arts until my dying day. Because I’ve always been proud to be one, and not only that but to expand my talent, passion, and creativity into other areas of art as well. I mean why not? Who died and made someone king or queen and in charge of determining what is art and what isn’t? What’s marketable about it or not? If it deserves to make good money or not? If its trendy or entertaining enough for clicks or short attention spans? Or if it has any real value or not? And worse, is it even a viable career to do at all? Personally, all of this just pisses me off.

Well, long story short my fellow poets and artists as a whole, I urge all of us to just keep going. To not quit or give up, to keep that fire burning inside and never allow anything or anyone to extinguish it. What we have and possess, what we do and have to share in my honest and very personal opinion, is simply and completely invaluable. Crucial to this world and life, vitally important to humanity, and comes from our very core and imagination within. So don’t ever be less, be more. Don’t leave the chair as seen in the image above and place a flower there in your absence. You as a poet, as artists are irreplaceable. Stay strong and poised, stay bold and bring the noise, and never be afraid to be the poet and artist that is you. You’re here for a purpose with this, so go do exactly that and shine a brighter light on this world through you and your poetry.

Much love to poetry and much success to all of us poets.

  • The Four (Various Poems)

    July 2nd, 2026

    The day

    Has been so long

And it has seen me be

The me that was in thought all day

    And night

    The poet in me

    Will always be the poet

    That lasts forever

    The poet mind

    Has the ability

And poise to bring the noise

    Not only from one way

    Knowing that it requires openness

So that the poet can always grow

    The tree that grows daily

Is being what it was meant to be

Nestled with full branches and leaves

That stands tall for all to see

  • Too Much On The Mind

    July 2nd, 2026

Have you ever had so much on the mind, that it just feels like the inside of your head is completely full? Full to the point of being no available space left in there at all for nothing else. Having so much going on in there, that you feel overwhelmed and restless. Feeling like you’re unable to shutoff your brain even for just a little while.

Constantly thinking and usually about things that haven’t occurred yet, or have happened but you’re too fixated on it. So much time spent inside your head that nothing gets done due to all the mental traffic. Or trying to take on too many items all at once, when there is only one you. You’re trying to do the work of two or maybe three people, and truly don’t know how to give your own self a much needed break. Having a hard time simply taking a short pause, and perfectionism may be the one of the culprits at hand. We as creatives can suffer from this, or even have creative blocks as well. Also feeling like there’s not enough hours in the day to complete everything. But guess what? How about just start and finish one thing first before moving on to something else.

    The Task

Up to the task at hand
But in my mind many thoughts land

For if I could pause time
    Just for a little while

I would do so with my powerful mind
As to alter how my thoughts tend to collide

So that I could take on one idea
    With the completion thereof

To allow even more of the creativity
    That I so surely love

So focus on just one thing at a time, and not try to tackle multiple items all at once. There is nothing wrong with multitasking, until it starts to get in the way of the actual priority itself. Sometimes as creatives we can be very tough on ourselves, and it is unfair and undeserving. Self preservation also includes the mind as well, so stay creative but not at the cost of burning yourself completely out in the process.

  • Steps 2

    July 1st, 2026

    I am

    Writing this poem

    Just because I want to

And for no other reason than that

As I get to enjoy the poetic freedom

Of having done so and knowing that I can

Do this at anytime or anyplace that I choose to

That is my choice and one that I take great pride in

And will continue to do so until my very last day and life ends

    To be

    A poet is a joy

    And such a creative right

That I get to exercise and repeat

To my very heart’s content and even beyond

As it flows in and out of me as the very breaths

That occupy my lungs and also flows just as much

As the very waters around me and oh how I love to see

Yet another poetic piece formed and written by none other than me

    I

    Would really

    Like to reinvent

    My poetic self here

    In a manner so creatively

That I even amaze myself constantly

For me and poetry are amazing together

And fit so perfectly and artistically like magnets

As poetry will never be done with me permanently

For the world will witness this amazing duo first hand

    I

    Am a

    Poet that has

    Been one for quite

    Sometime and continues on as

Poetry is another place for me

To call home and an art form

That I feel free to roam as I

Never feel alone when it comes to poetry and

Me as we will always be an amazing duo forever

  • What Does Poetry Mean To Me

    July 1st, 2026

After writing poetry for a long time, one would think that it would become like second nature. But the truth is, poetry is an art that you still have to work at. Just as any other form of art, poetry requires a bit of passion and creativity. It can be shared with the world or kept to the privacy of the poet themselves. The question, “what does poetry mean to me?” Is a question every poet must ask themselves and the reflection will display in the poetic work as well. Well, for me poetry is a very nice place I like to call home. Poetry also for me is a way to personal freedom through the power of words. It is an art form of pure expression and mixed brilliantly with the convergence of words and lines in poetic form.

There are also times where I don’t care to give poetry any description, but rather instead just allow it to be what it is. Nothing more and nothing less, and the appreciation thereof. I live, eat, and sleep poetry and I wouldn’t want it any other way. As I mentioned earlier, it is this question that each poet must answer and it will be different for each one. Exactly what that will be, is up to each one of you. So get out there and write, type, or recite and let the world know that you exist. But even more important than that, allow poetry to live and breathe within you. And don’t ever be afraid to set the poetry inside of you free, in whatever manner you so choose. You are part of this art, and this art is a part of you….
