The faint sound
of a small wind,
felt more so than heard—
and no higher in decibels,
than a mere whisper—
a tiny breeze,
that is wresting between the trees,
as I sit below,
nestled in fallen leaves,
for in this moment,
I have all that I need,
as I’m staring up at the clouds,
as they roll slowly by—
that helped; feed the breeze,
as I close my eyes; and think about,
the temperature around me,
felt nicely from cooler degrees,
for what a spot this is,
residing right here—
as I could stay here forever,
vanish and then reappear,
time slowed but appreciated,
and fond relaxation initiated—
for this natural allure and area,
greeted me without hesitation,
and I’m quite thankful—
for what all has occurred,
and having the chance to dwell,
amongst the soft winds—
That gave off a mere whisper.

Emerson tells us, “Nature always wears the color of the spirit.” It’s seems your view of nature offers a glimpse into a wonderful spirit inside.
