For what can one do
in a situation; that does not serve them well,
at all—
continuing on this path,
will lead to more,
of the same circumstances,
that lead to nowhere—
so one must choose,
to wear very different shoes,
in order to change to; a much better path,
and to walk therein—
so as to not repeat; or to ever go down,
This road again.

Very to-the-point and poignant. How many of us have held steadfast to the course that does not serve us well, while expecting different results?
Also, on a poet’s note, the semi-rhyming aspect was certainly a nice touch. It, very much, grounded and brought everything home, my friend. It’s those subtle techniques and methods that really compliment message of poems like this.

Appreciate that a lot my friend, and meant for it to be very relatable in regards to change, much respect
