Rhyme or no rhyme
Is the poetry question here
Word for word and line by line
But the poetic answer is not so clear
For I rhyme because I can
But when I feel its not there
I don’t force it through
For I can rhyme anytime I want
And also not if I so choose
Rhyme or no rhyme
Is up to the poet at that time
As the question looms and is answered
In their own unique way
Read and seen through every poetic line
And to not rhyme, is more than alright
Totally okay as it doesn’t have to
So as long as the poem served the poet well
Then the poet did their part
But to rhyme can be such fun
Whether penned or spoken any day
And no one and done poetry
As the rhymes roll and also take shape
Rhyme or no rhyme
Well, I’ll just have to do it anyway
Write or recite
Defined by each line
For what more

When it comes to poetry, as a poet, it’s about utilizing everything in your grammatical arsenal to make the piece effective and connective. But, sometimes, it means adhering strictly to the rules; other times, it means finding any and every loophole to a rule just to get a stanza to work.
