I was on the

Wake up list this morning

And grateful for living

Another day

For each day above ground

Is a good day

To be able to walk around

Have all of my senses

And be in my right mind

Along with heart beating

Blood flowing, the breath of life

Neurons firing, and aware of myself

For waking up to a new day

Is something amazing in and of itself

And allowing for

New opportunities and infinite possibilities

For the kingdom is within me

And depths within that encompass me

In every way, shape, or form

For as the sun rise and seen with

My own eyes, and begin to smile

And never know how a day can go

But open to the unknown

Personal thankfulness I want to relay

And further convey

For I am grateful 

To see another day
